'View' co-host Joy Behar to start cable talk show

Television personality Joy Behar attends a special evening to honor artist Ross Bleckner's appointment as Goodwill Ambassador with a special exhibition "Welcome To Gulu" at the United Nations.

NEW YORK - Joy Behar has too much to say for just one hour a day, so the veteran co-host of ABC's ``The View'' plans to double up with her own show on HLN.

The cable network, formerly known as Headline News, says ``The Joy Behar Show'' will star the comedian and TV personality in a talk-and-interview hour airing nightly at 9 p.m. Eastern.

It will premiere this fall, with the popular ``Nancy Grace Show'' as lead-in. It replaces a repeat of CNN's ``Lou Dobbs Tonight.''

Behar will continue her day job on ``The View,'' where she's been a fixture since that program began in 1997.
