Mark Clark

Brownsville

Mark Clark

Brownsville

ART STYLE:

I paint oil paintings that reflect life and history in the RGV.

BIO:

Born May 26, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Painintg since 1952, but showing since 1978.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT:

"You’re only as good as your last picture.” (Sounds sorta like Hollywood, doesn’t it?)

FAVORITE PLACES TO EXHIBIT IN THE RGV:

The Loft in McAllen, BMFA, Historic Brownsville Museum, Brownsville Historical Association, Harlingen Art and History Museum, IMAS, the 77 flea market. I like the first two for the space, the next three for curation, and the last for the attendance.
