ALTERCATE was founded in the late summer 2006 by Sterling & Lupe. They later added Jaime on vocals. Within a few months ALTERCATE started playing shows in the local underground scene. After a few months of playing shows, ALTERCATE decided to do a recording so they started in late Feb of '07 and in a couple of months they a had a complete recording done. In late May of 2007 AlTERCATE released there debut C.D.entitled "Seeking Serenity" along with six other tracks. ALTERCATE recently played in Austin along with AYASOLTEC,SAKREFIX,XAPHRON,NINTH KINGDOM,& one other band at the Club ROOM 710 ALTERCATE looks forward to see what awaits them in the future
