HARLINGEN - Alejandro Sanz, who was scheduled to perform in Hidalgo on June 22, has postponed his U.S. tour dates until later this year and early 2008, according to Sanz’ spokesperson and recent news reports.
Sanz is now slated to bring his “El Tren de los Momentos” tour to Hidalgo’s Dodge Arena on Nov. 22.
Sanz postponed the tour under orders from doctors who want the singer to take “absolute rest,” Sanz’ spokesperson told Billboard.com.
Ticket information for the November show is not yet available.
AllMusic.com called Sanz, who recently wrapped up the Latin American leg of his tour, “the most commercially successful Spanish singer of all time.” The Grammy and Latin Grammy award winner has released a string of hit pop albums including 2003’s “No Es Lo Mismo” and his latest, “El Tren de los Momentos.”
