Wavves, an indie pop duo from San Diego, has cancelled its Valley show, citing personal reasons. Patrick Garcia, one of the promoters who booked Wavves, says he hopes he can reschedule the performance for early next year. Wavves planned to perform Sunday at the Creative Incubator. Wavves has made headlines a few times this year. Bloggers jumped all over the band’s meltdown at a Spanish festival this summer. The group insulted fans and fought on stage, according to reports. Last month, reports also surfaced that Wavves and its management fought with Black Lips, another indie act. (ZQ)
